Service operator and scope
Scripture Deck is operated personally by Paul Bryan Reyes, based in the Philippines. Contact [email protected]. The service combines Scripture reference material with account-based personal Bible study tools, including notes, maps, collections, reading activity, and memory practice. The Scripture library uses a 66-book canon; prayer references are an additional resource.
Account eligibility and responsibilities
For the initial account launch, you must be 18 or older to create an account and use signed-in personal study. This account policy does not place an age restriction on anonymous public Bible, prayer, or reference pages. Use an account you are authorized to control. Keep your password and recovery information secure, review connected-app permissions, and sign out on shared devices. Supply accurate account information and do not impersonate another person. Current email registration does not verify that an address belongs to the registrant; confirm identity independently before sharing a collection.
Your personal study material
You retain responsibility for the personal material you enter and for permissions to include it. You permit Scripture Deck to store, process, and display that material solely to provide the functions you use, including sharing you choose. It does not assign ownership of your notes to Scripture Deck or grant a marketing or model-training license.
Sharing a collection gives the selected friend read-only access to its full connected notes as well as its passages and description. Removing access cannot recall a recipient’s copies. Device notes and study exports are unencrypted; protect devices and downloaded copies. See Privacy for administrator access and data handling.
Shared-source content and attribution
Bible editions, prayer forms, lexical aids, alignments, and artwork have separate source conditions. Read Sources and attribution before reuse. Public-domain source material retains that status; licensed source material retains its own license terms. These service terms do not add blanket restrictions to all Scripture text or grant permissions that a source holder has not supplied. Scripture Deck’s explanations are distinct from received or imported text.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and rights. Do not attempt to access another account, bypass access checks, disrupt the service, abuse account or connector endpoints, or upload material you have no right to use. Do not send another person’s confidential information through a study or sharing function without appropriate authorization.
Suspension and deletion
The administrator has controls to suspend and restore accounts, end sessions, recover access through a temporary password or authenticator removal, and delete accounts. The administrator can also open an account and read or change its study through a recorded action. Access may be restricted for misuse of the service. Contact the operator about an account issue or deletion request. Active-data deletion and retained audit/backup copies are explained in Privacy.
Service limits
Keep your own copies of material you need. The Settings JSON export is unencrypted and has no import-back function; it does not contain every account or administrative record. Offline support is limited to device notes and offline information screens, not a complete offline Bible or every study tool. Connected apps can use only the functions covered by the permission you grant. Review the external provider’s practices before connecting it.
Study explanations, lexical glosses, and devotional guides require judgment in context. This reference material does not replace a priest in sacramental confession or establish institutional approval of an interpretation. The service does not promise uninterrupted availability, complete coverage of every source, or preservation of copies outside its control.
Applicable terms and contact
Read these service responsibilities together with Privacy and the applicable notices for the source material you use. Questions about the service, a source notice, or your account can be sent to [email protected]. About Scripture Deck explains the project’s purpose.
Updates
Published updates will identify substantive changes and their effective date. Review an update before continuing to rely on the service.
